This is not a larp designed for children – there are no plots or activities aimed solely at children. There are two characters that could be played by children (Prince Edward, 8 & Princess Elizabeth, 13). If younger larpers would like to play these roles, they would need a responsible adult to attend with them – this could be either as another member of the same court or as an attendant of the young Prince/Princess. They would be expected to behave in a similar fashion to the adults at court and remain in-character in the in-character areas as much as possible. If there are no players interested in these, they will be played as offscreen NPC characters.
Children are very welcome to accompany their parents or other responsible adults to the larp. Many of the characters have children or could be looking after the children of other members of their court. In particular, there are a number of very young Princes and Princesses who could be at court.
If you would like to bring your children to our larp, please get in touch and we can discuss what would make this work for you: this could be a private family sleeping room or ensuring that another adult can also attend to aid with childcare, either as another character or not.
